ON. WebMeter

WebMeter terms of use

Effective from 1 October 2026.

  1. Who provides the service. Details of the WebMeter operator are in the privacy policy (section “Who processes the data”); contact kontakt@webmeter.eu.

  2. What the service does. WebMeter checks the technical state of a website for free and without registration, using only publicly available data. It does not log in, does not try passwords or vulnerabilities and does not fill in forms. Details are described on the crawler page.

  3. Free version. From one IP address you can check at most 6 different websites in 10 days and, in the competitor comparison, at most 12 different websites of competitors in 10 days; further technical limits protect the checked websites against overload. There is no legal entitlement to the free version: we may restrict it, switch it off temporarily or refuse a check, especially if misuse is suspected.

  4. Prohibited use. You must not run the service in bulk or automatically, or circumvent limits or the “I am not a robot” check. You must not use the results to attack a website, harm its operator or spread untrue claims about it.

  5. Results. The score, grade and recommendations are an automatic estimate from publicly available data at the time of the check, not an expert opinion, an audit or legal advice. We do not guarantee their completeness or the security of the website. We are not liable for decisions made solely on their basis; liability for intent and gross negligence and consumer rights are not affected.

  6. Report. The report is at a non-public link that cannot be guessed; anyone who has the link can open the report. The report is stored for at most 365 days, the PDF for 30 days. The website owner can ask for exclusion and deletion.

  7. Personal data. Governed by the privacy policy.

  8. Changes and governing law. We may change the terms by publishing a new version on this page; a check is governed by the version in force when it was started. The terms are governed by Czech law. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz) is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
